exceeded our expectations

Our family or 5 went into this trip in June 2011, hoping it would be a great family experience and if we made friends it would be a bonus. That was our thought process. We made friends as did the kids. Listening and learning was fun for the kids because they with new friends. The main guide and each daily guide were excellent. Being on a tour we never waited in lines, we were spoon fed important information, and details were taken care of for us. I won't want to travel any other way. This did cost more money being on a tour vs. doing it ourselves, but it was well worth it not to be stressed. This was the best family vacation we have ever had. Our kids were 12, 14 and 16 and those ages were just right. There was a 9 year old on the trip who sometimes got tired. I would not recommend this to a child younger then 11. I wish there was a family tour for older kids in that we re aging out of the suggested age group.

An Unforgettable Trip
The Family Tour of Venice, Florence and Rome was a week I'll never forget.
Our tour guide was the best of the best ! It was a great way for families to experience something fun and educational together. Having other kids to be with made it more fun for the children on the tour because they weren't always around just adults. Some nights, the kids chose to eat together at one table while the adults ate together at another table. Based on the laughter coming from both tables, everyone was having fun.
