From the flights to the beautiful train ride to Scotland along the North Sea, from Stonehenge, Edinburugh Castle, the Irish Pubs, all the BEAUTIFUL scenery and our unbelievable tour guide, this trip was nothing less than AMAZING. Something I will remember the rest of my life.
we really would have rather a tour guide met us at the London airport. We had to wait for an hour for the bus to pick our group up and take us to the hotel. He wasn't at the hotel when we arrived either.

I just completed my third tour with Go Ahead, the London, Edinburgh, Dublin tour. Once again Go Ahead came through with an excellent tour at a very reasonable price. On all my three tours I've been surprised at what Go Ahead offers for the price. Everything is top-notch.

I was a bit disappointed in the hotels on this tour. The one in Dublin felt like it was in an unsafe neighborhood and the guide told us not to go out at night unless we were in a cab. This was my 5th Go Ahead Tour and I haven't had this problem before. Certainly, the three cities, London, Edinburgh and Dublin are great and you can't go wrong with them. I was also disappointed by the cancellation of the Bath/Stonhenge side trip even though we had enough people to go on it. Problem was they couldn't order the bus for us in time.
Enjoyed nearly every aspect. Edinburgh was special, and London and the London area were all I expected them to be. Transportation was fine, provided meals were good. Hotels were centrally located, or at least close to public transport. I was a little disappointed in the Dublin portion, but it was still neat to see Powerscourt and Glendalough.
The director of the Holiday Inn Express in Edinburgh went above and beyond, as did the staff. Superb people in every case.

We did the London, Edinburgh, Dublin tour with 4 other couples. This was our 4th Go Ahead tour. As always, everything went just perfectly. Our guide, Jonathan Fisher was excellent. He was always cordial, informative and patient. To us London was the highlight. Our hotel in Kensington was very nice and the staff there was extremely efficient. We especially liked the location, just 2 blocks from the Tube Station. Edinburgh was lovely and the castle & Highland tour were wonderful. Our hotel in Dublin was probably the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. The Manager was terrific answering our questions and recommending restaurants & Pubs. We're already talking about 2012.

My daughter and I took this tour last month (June 2011). I thought it very good. Although we had visited London once before, we saw different things this time than the first time. Our tour director was very good about keeping us informed as to each day's itinerary and gave us background/historical information on each place we visited. Our local guide in each of the three cities was knowledgeable, friendly and really enjoyed sharing their city with us. I liked this tour because we had scheduled activities and then we had free time to spend as we wished. This would be a good first tour for the traveler who's never tried Go Ahead before and/or who would like to visit each of these cities to see the highlights. I will definitely travel with Go Ahead again, and probably to these same cities.

This is a very nice quick overview of London, Edinburgh and Dublin including a wonderful train ride through England as you travel to Scotland. Wonderful local tour guides truly enhanced the experience by giving the insider's view.

This is my fourth GAT tour and the least that I like. With only 16 members, most of the optional excursions were canceled. Not much enthusiasm in the group. First time I got bored and unhappy in a tour. The tour director tried his best but his best did not measure to the level that I experienced in my first three GAT tours. I suggest that you cancel a tour if there are less than 24 participants. Even the local guides will be happier if there are more people in the group.
Even with the crowds who clogged evefry street, and the uneven weather, every day, thanks to the unflagging enthusiasm and organisation and planning of Tom Quinn, our marvelous tour director, was the best.

As usual London was fabulous, Edingburg breathtaking and Dublin great, but not as great as Edingburg. I am never disappointed with a GoAhead Tour!

This summer, I traveled to London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. I visited London last year with Go Ahead tours and fell in love with the city. I knew that I needed to go back. I have to say that this trip was even better than last year! Our guide was excellent! From the very first day, he would go above and beyond; instead of simply showing us where to go on the map, he walked us to the tube station, helped us buy tickets, and showed us exactly where to go. He was very knowledgable, and he told us stories and legends about the area as we traveled, played local music, and even read poetry to us!
This trip would be ideal for active travelers as well as leisurely travelers. More active travelers will love the excursions. I went on every excursion offered except one dinner, and they were all well planned and memorable. In London, stonehenge was very memorable; I took countless pictures. In Edinburgh, the Abbotsford & Melrose Abbey excursion was wonderful. In Dublin, the excursion to Glendalough was the most beautiful location! I was in awe of the waterfalls and the scenery.
I enjoyed this trip immensly, and I am inspired to go on the literary tour of the United KIngdom next year! The weather is beautiful, with a little rain from time to time,. The scenery is awe inspiring, and the historical locations are amazing! I feel like this was a once in a lifetime experience, although I hope that it is not! I plan to continue traveling with Go Ahead tours in the future.

The London, Edinborough, Dublin tour was my first trip outside of the U.S. As soon as I got off the plane at the London Heathrow airport, any trepidation I had quickly dissolved when I was greeted by my Go Ahead representative. From that point on I knew I was in good hands, and that my milestone trip would meet all my expectations and more. My Tour Director, Sean McKeown, was exceptional. He made sure we were all comfortable and at ease in our new surroundings, and somehow managed to make transitioning throughout the different countries seamless. For me, that made the whole experience feel truly like a vacation. Our tour guides were extraordinary! There wasn't a detail that they missed, or a question they couldn't answer; and their level of professionalism made me grateful to be a part of their "audience". So here it is two years later and I'm still talking about how great my trip was to family and friends. Many thanks to the entire Go Ahead team for an unforgettable time!

Great trip to see all that London has to offer, with excellent side trips to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. Outstanding train ride through the English countryside to the very interesting city of Edinburgh. A bit short on time to really see Scotland and Ireland, but a day or two more at each would do it.

Seeing London, Edinburgh, and Dublin was a wonderful cities tour. The guide and hotels were excellent except for the hotel in Dublin which was, as one taxi driver noted, practically in Cork! The optional tours to Stonehenge and Glendalough and Powercourt were exceptional. Thank you Go Ahead.

I have had the pleasure of traveling most of my adult years due to the fact that my parents have been taking people to the Czech Republic and surrounding countries with their own travel group since the 60's. My parents are no longer in the travel business and I have missed the wonderful tours. A year ago my wife and I were invited to go on a tour to London, Edinburg, and Ireland by a family member. We have never traveled with GO Ahead Tours before. This past June we spent a fabulous 10 days touring with this group and we had a wonderful vacation which exceeded our expectations! Go Ahead Tours treated us like family in every way. The hotels were top notch and centrally located. The meals were great! Our tour guide, Tim couldn't have been more helpful. My wife and I had the best trip we have ever been on. We looked forward everyday to the activities that were planned or a day of leisure to enjoy on our own. Needless to say, we are already looking into our next Go Ahead Tour, and we are definitely telling our friends about our trip, in hopes they will come along on the next one. Thanks Go Ahead Tours for a wonderful memory!

I wanted to give my daughter a memorable vacation for her college graduation and this was perfect! The optional excursions perfectly complimented the planned tours. I would have liked to see Dublin castle as provided in the tour description, and a real Scottish dinner rather than Italian! Overall, it was fantastic! We are already planning our next trip!
