Our Beautiful US of A.

We have been blessed with so much natural beauty in our country. "America the Beautiuful, Moab to Rushmore" is one of the perfect ways to experience it. The tour stops were well planned and organized so we would see as much as possible. It was a rather hectic pace but in order to see as much as we did, the early morning calls were well worth it.
Our tour director , Nanct S. and our driver "Lucky" were fabulous. They went above and beyond the call of duty , in my opinion..
The unfortunate part pf our trip was having the bus break down not once, but twice! Fortunately, everyone kept their "cool" and we waited out the hours for a new bus without any confrontations. It is because we lost about seven hours of National park visits that I would expect compensation of some sort from the "Go Ahead Tour" company. Is this being considered?
I would still recomend this tour to friends. Perhaps I myself will be able to join another group to see more of our great USA.

very enlightening

America the Beautiful was a very well designed trip to a part of the country that I am not very familiar. The accomodations were first rate and more than adequate. The Tour Director was first rate and she did more than enough to make us comfortable and offered many options for us.
My only complaint would be with quality of the buses for this tour. We broke down twice and the company did sent replacement buses for us. Our driver was vey patient and caused us no alarm.

Excellent Trip - Something I'd do again

This was one of the best trips I've ever taken. I couldn't believe the beauty of my own country and how the national parks are something I'll never forget. Grand Teton and Arches National Parks were a sight to behold. Yellowstone, was beyond my imatination.
Nancy our Tour guide was phenoninal. She was very knowledgeable and informative. She also made a good situation out of one that was a problem with the buses twice. The sice tirp we took to Little Big Horn should be part of every trip. Thank you Nancy and Lucky for taking us.
I will always remember this trip. It made me appreciate who I am and where I'm from.
I'd go again as long as we had a de;pendable bus company and got a direct flight. New York is the center of transportation in this country. There was no reason for us to have to take a connecting flight especially on such a small plane. I ket hitting my head.

Very enjoyable and informative. Beautiful sites

Would never have seen so many places on one trip by doing it ourselves. Had a lot of fun with the other members of the group and the guide.

Taste of a huge land

Covered a lot of territory -- a touch of a lot of the west. Since I had never visited in the part of America, I was awed at the difference in landscapes. I appreciated our tour director's effort to show us all she could in a tiny time frame. Now trying to pick my next tour.

This was an Outstanding experience in many ways. The opportunity to travel through the great American West, with extended stops at some of America's premier National Parks ,was exactly as outlined in your Go Ahead brochure.
This was our 6th trip with Go Ahead, and we would rate it as one of our Best.
Nancy Schrag our tour director, was so much a part of this wonderful experience.
A true attentive professional from the beginning of the trip,to the end of trip. Always with a great sense of humor, and pleasant attention to each person in our group. We covered a large amount of territory, with Chris Manning at the
wheel of the bus. He always made us feel confident that we were in good
hands no matter what the road conditions. All in all, a Great Trip. Herb & Ronnie Lander

Magnificent!!!

The America the Beautiful tour was beyond my expectations! The reason for the trip was to see the National Parks I had never visited! The history and beauty were exceptional and a wonderful experience. There were no hassles, great timing for visiting the sites, and I highly recommend this to ALL Americans. Our tour group, director and bus driver were the best! Put this trip on your "short list" -- you won't regret it!

City girl finds happiness out West

Great tour. It's easy to forget how beautiful our country is when you live in a crowded bustling city. Our tour leader, Julie, was creative and fun. She was really present not just on automatic pilot. Our bus driver, Lucky, was also great. By the end of the tour our group felt like family. Our bison sightings were really abundant. We also saw prairie dogs, elk, a big old moose and other creatures. Hotels could be better but were located very well. Can't wait for my next tour with Go Ahead.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL

America the Beautiful tour was beyond words. Where else can one see the beautiful Arches National Park in Moab,UT, raft down Colorado River, tour Temple Square in Salt Lake City, visit Jackson Hole, WY with tours through Grand Teton Mts. and Yellowstone Park, see hundreds of buffalo, travel to Cody,WY to Buffalo Bill Museum and finish with Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore and Badlands in Rapid City,SD. The tour director ,Julie Lester, was excellent and the accommodations at hotels and airfare plans were fine. Our bus driver, Lucky , was the best to drive through all the curves of this 3000 mile bus trip with so many mountains and and curves to drive. I have recommended this trip to numerous friends as one can only see America by driving the beautiful WEst.

America the Beautiful:Red Rocks

What a country! What a trip! This was our fifth trip with Goahead and we hope for many more! The guide, Stevyn Polk, was remarkable. Our bus driver, Lucky, made us feel so at home. All the accommodations were outstanding. Every place we stopped was worth the trip. Hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on the Fourth of July can only be described as an awesome experience, almost equalled by the night ceremony at Mt. Rushmore. The only down side was the length of time on the bus but looking back, it was worth every minute!

One of the best

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The sites were great and some were surprisingly more enjoyable than I expected. Who would have thought that the Buffalo Bill Museum would be so good? Nothing was a disappointment. Everything was fascinating. Our tour director was "the best". Stevyn kept us informed and entertained. There was never a dull moment even on the long bus rides. Go Ahead is first for me.

America the Beautiful

I took my daughter and 5 year old grandson on the inaugural trip and it was so much fun sharing with them all the wonderful things we saw. Accommodations in a couple of the locations were a weak spot, but the itinerary and activities were wonderful. We needed more time in the Moab area to see a bit of Canyonlands and in Rocky Mountain National Park.
